“It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see” – Henry David Thoreau

“Our pictures are our footprints. It’s the best way to tell people we were here” – Joe McNally

Life is like a voyage and journey, and everyone is a traveler traveling our own path in life. Our voyage began with our first cry at birth and end with our last breath at our death, it takes us through a road of happiness, growth, interaction, love, fear, pain and hardship, with guidance from the almighty God. As we travel along our own road we remember people and places that have been, are and were once an important part of our live voyage, we’ve seen the beautiful world and all the great creation in this world.

Photography has been a hobby of mine since I received my first mirrorless camera with kit lens as a present in late 2011. Inspired by other photographers whom I’ve known and photo blogs I’ve visited, I began this photo blog as a project to visually document aspects of my life and as an ongoing attempt to become a better photographer.

I hope this photo blog will be a portal through which I can learn and improve on photography, and also as a portal which others will benefit from.
