Lanterns of Hope

I was away last weekend to Puncak for a Family Gathering activity with my company, and the event ended on Friday night with Lantern Lighting Ceremony – where we write our hopes, dreams and vision onto a post-it note and stick it onto a lantern, and release them all into the night sky.

Although it’s still heaven and earth from the Lantern Festival of Thailand (kinda like a super-mini lantern festival), I did enjoy the moment when everyone’s looking at the sky when the lanterns go up, reflecting thoughts that our dream can be as high and as no limit as the sky!

  1. Reblogged this on per mare… and commented:
    Hope springs eternal in the human breast;
    Man never is, but always to be blessed:
    The soul, uneasy and confined from home,
    Rests and expatiates in a life to come.
