Penang Trip Part 7 – Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion

On our trip to Penang, one of the places we visited was the historical Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, or the Blue Mansion. The Circa 1880s mansion was built by the wealthy merchant Cheong Fatt Tze at the end of 19th century, and reputedly was the favourite home of the “Last Mandarin and First Capitalist of China”.

It was hard to capture photos here as we were really forbidden to take photos during tours, nevertheless I sneaked some photos and here you go.

My Itinerary to Penang was: our itinerary: Air Itam (laksa, muar chee(Link) and Kek Lok Si temple(Link)) ->;; Clan Jetties Weld Quay (sunrise) ->;; George Town/City (Khoo Kongsi, Pinang Peranakan Mansion, Cheong Fat Tze Mansion), so tune in for further posts and check out the previous posts :)
