As mentioned in the previous post, I was in Penang Island for a 1-day-1-night trip.
I went to the famous photography site – Clan Jetties of the Weld Quay (or Pengkalan Weld) for a sunrise photoshoot. Honestly I wasn’t as much confident in sunrise/sunset photoshoots as before when I was in Sydney, as I had less time to go out for practice photoshoots since migrating to Jakarta half a year ago, especially with the long shutter technique – I hope the photos turn out well.
There wasn’t really any nice sunrise due to the cloud formation so all of the photos are of pre-sunrise and half an hour after sunrise . I would say the really best time was the plus minus 15 minutes around the forecasted sunrise time. During my time there, I’ve also met other photographers, be it locals or from other Malaysian states who came here for sunrise photoshoot.
My Itinerary to Penang was: our itinerary: Air Itam (laksa, muar chee(Link) and Kek Lok Si temple(Link)) ->;; Clan Jetties Weld Quay (sunrise) ->;; George Town/City (Khoo Kongsi, Pinang Peranakan Mansion, Cheong Fat Tze Mansion), so tune in for further posts and check out the previous posts 🙂
