Southern Highlands Trip Part 2 – Berrima

Continuing from Bowral (Part 1 of SOuthern Highlands Trip, link), we visited the historic town, Berrima.

We had a tour in the famous courthouse and gaol – which is designed by colonial architect Mortimer Lewis and built between 1836 – 1838. What’s really nice is that they have mannequins in the courtrooms simulating a past case with light + audio show, and we get to put on the costumes and take photos!

I’ve also had the chance to stroll down the Wingecarribee River’s Stone Quarry Walk before we leave the place to go back to Sydney as it’s getting dark. Before calling it a day, we had the Chilli Crab in Campsie and it’s so delicious that I definitely wouldn’t mind have it again despite being so expensive.
