Taiwan December Trip – Day 3 Sun Moon Lake

26th December 2011 – On our day 3 we went to the beautiful Sun Moon Lake 日月潭.

Situated in Yuchi, Nantou it is the largest body of water in Taiwan as well as a tourist attraction. The area around the Sun Moon Lake is home to the Thao aboriginal tribe. The east side of the lake resembles a sun while the west side resembles a moon, hence the name.

And guess what, the Sun Moon Lake was where my parents usually had their dating while in university (my dad is a Malaysian studied abroad and met my mum in Taiwan). Naturally having seen a place like this, long shutter photos are a must! Besides of taking photos on day time, I’d also went out in the night and woke up before dawn for some long shutter shots.

Anyway, following are the following photos to show the beauty of Sun Moon Lake indescriptible by words.
